Hook up culture, blah, blah

This is the most interesting piece I've read on modern sexual politics in quite some time. I'm looking forward to checking this book out.

Anyone read it yet?

  1. This looks interesting, actually. It may seem crass to analyze sexuality through an economic lens, but I think there are some reasons to at least make the effort. Of course, I'll just wait for you to read it and write a review ;)

  2. It is indeed interesting. My biggest problem with the economic argument is that it assumes that men and women are trading companionship and sex as if playing a zero-sum game... as if one is a cost for one of the genders, when really everyone benefits from both.
