This looks interesting, actually. It may seem crass to analyze sexuality through an economic lens, but I think there are some reasons to at least make the effort. Of course, I'll just wait for you to read it and write a review ;)
It is indeed interesting. My biggest problem with the economic argument is that it assumes that men and women are trading companionship and sex as if playing a zero-sum game... as if one is a cost for one of the genders, when really everyone benefits from both.
